Archive for November, 2016

It has been several years since I had to recover from a major party.  The party was fun.  Lots of music, plenty of food, lots of fond familiar faces.  Lots of exercise, guitar pad blisters, blown voice, all sorts of aches and pains.  But it was lots of fun.

And recovery is taking about the same schedule as usual.  Slept like a hibernating bear, ached something awful.  But one difference is an elevated blood pressure that just doesn’t want to go away.

Staying indoors today, avoiding Black Friday anything.  Got plenty of food, so there is no need to go anywhere.  I may go to the Apple Store on Monday to check out the details on the MacBook Pro.  No need to do it now.

Party prep

Getting started on party prep.  There will be music a week from now.  Wednesday is departure date.  Trying to eat up the perishable stuff.

Got my license renewed on Wednesday.  It should be here when I come back to swap out the load between Austin and Elgin.  New photo…  My eyes checked out better than they did 12 years ago, especially the left one.  That is encouraging.

Sleep schedule has gotten real funky.

Bryan turnaround

Music School, Vince and Sarah, conversations, migas, truck testing, and plenty more made the Bryan run a force to be overwhelming when I got back home.  It was lights out in very short order.  But it was fun and advantageous.

So, things are sort of getting back to normal, except my sleep schedule. And the ibuprofen use.  But I think I needed it for as a warm up for the party in two weeks.

Finally got to see the MacAir that came close to being mine.  But I have to say that it ended up going to the best possible place.

Counting the days until this disgraceful election comes to an end.
