90’s
Posted on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at 1:13 pmWell, Texas is starting to heat up and dry out. The 90’s are here, the 60’s are gone, the sky is blue. Still under the fans, AC not on yet. Sleeping until noon in spurts. Hanging in there without issues so far. I got a couple of new cooling towels for the season.

Myka is now an indoor cat. Dixie started chasing Myka over the fence and then started waiting for her to return at the gap. Myka opted to go to the front yard through the neighbor’s yard. This happened three days in a row, so she is an indoor cat. She just doesn’t realize the risk of the front yard. Each day, she gets a little grumpier. This morning, I got a series of steady bleeders from bites near the right elbow. Grrr.

Not much going on. Not a lot of shopping, as I have lots to eat in the freezer. Can’t complain about food other than the temperature of the kitchen when I feel like cooking. But I can either eat in the cool part of the day or sleep. So lots of sandwiches. The chicken pene alfredo was quite good.

My fingers are still tender from the Maha, but they are getting better.
