Not the best way to start the new year

Solstice party in Bryan was the highlight of the holiday season.  It was a great party, lots of music, lots of smiles.  Wagon Wheel had the best chorus I can remember.  It was a great and satisfying party.  I also caught the flu there. (I think.)

December was a fun month, and it wore me out.  But it was an all around good time until the 28th, when I broke my final remaining posted crown.  It was a deep fracture, and I had to tear out a chunk of gum with it to et it out.  It was starting to heal when my throat went sore late on the 30th, and it’s been downhill since.  Fever, sore throat, nasal congestion, bronchial settling, with a wheeze and a ragged cough.  Miserable stuff, into the 5th day.  I’m doing my best to be positive, but….

But December will be remembered as a good month, despite the numb sections and the way it ended.
