ho ho

It’s Christmas Eve, and my fingers are sore from playing last night at the solstice celebration.  Julie and I went early and worked the afternoon, then partied into the wee hours of the morning.  That makes twice (Music School and Solstice) that I have pressed my fingers to the limit playing music.  But it was a lot of fun to be playing that much.

It has been fun socializing, but it’s time to hunker down and ride out the cool weather that has taken residence in the neighborhood.  I have plenty to do to keep me occupied here at home, not to mention the medical visits and procedures coming up in January.

I have plenty to eat in the fridge, a nice selection of items from the freezer thawed and ready to eat.  And there is plenty of produce to go along with it.  I need to use up the milk too.  Of note, I did get to eat one of the prime ribs this time around, sharing it with Julie.  I’m tempted to go get another pack, as today is the last day they’re on special.
