Preppin’

I haven’t cooked yet, but I have been busy with the cutting board. Diced up a chicken quarter and half a pork tenderloin, broccoli and cauliflower. I decided I needed another leg quarter, so I thawed one, and it’s about to skinned, deboned, and diced like the first one. I expect to be cooking later today.

Just after midnight, and the office window is still open after 14 hours. Window thermometer shows 73°F. I shut the rest as the sun was setting, anticipating cooler temps. I never found a reason to shut it. Myka is grateful.

Tonight (after today), the front arrives, and the temp will drop for a couple of days, then pop back up again. Today is forecast to be a wet one, a serious dump coming after sunset.

Got the valsartan refill yesterday. It was back ordered, but it came through in time. I didn’t have to use an alternative. I also got a $3 16 oz. rubber mallet.

Music school next week is on the schedule.
