Kicking off February in a relaxing manner.
Window says 31°, back porch 28°, airport 22°. Coolest water in the pipes showed 47°F. It’s the last freeze in the forecast. Wind is calm and turning from the south. There’s lots of 70s in the afternoons ahead. It was a good skeeter killer, can’t complain.
I expect the chicken salad and stadium brats to be exhausted today. That means a brisket chili thaw, with cheese, spuds, and dogs. Then maybe I’ll cook something.
Slow Sunday start on Ytube, but they’re starting to come around. The remainder are all snow related, so I’m not exactly eager to watch.

The ice kiosk is out of order. Tomorrow will be soon enough.

I followed my intuition, sniffed the wind, and went back for ice. The manager was there, just having fixed the problem. There’s a fresh bag of ice in the freezer.
There’s also a tub of chili in the sink to thaw.
Spring starts tomorrow.
