I ordered three more items from Vine, filling out the month’s quota. A 10′ XLR cord, a cotton summer beanie, and a carbon fiber wand cat toy (with toys).

Rain is coming today, but not early on.
Chores are light. Avocados is the big one, they are ready. Dicing pork tenderloin is second, so I can use the avocados. Getting a fresh bag of ice. And the usual Saturday line up, feed the hungry, clean up.

Myka’s cabana has been sifted, and the ice has been cycled w/a new bag in the freezer, Myka’s bag and the ice bin are full. Myka also got a big chunk in her tub. I still need to prep the avocados and pork tenderloin.
The rain is approaching I-35, so call it a couple of hours or so, roughly mid afternoon. Nothing showing in between.
Time to get back to the kitchen. Myka so commands it.

The tenderloin and avocados are prepped. The cados were a touch late, but still quite acceptable. So, I’m done for the day. I finished off the chicken salad. I still have brisket, pâté, and now spudacados on the menu.
The rain persists, The train hit I-10 and went nearly horizontal across the map, the tail snagging on San Antonio. We’ve had about 0.6″ so far today, some heavier than others, but mostly a slow pace dripping.
Forecast shows a chance of rain for Spring Fling. But that is a week away, things change.
