Same ol’ same new

Another day near 105°F in parts of town. I think 103°F is proper here.


Not as much appetite as food. Or perhaps, not as much ambition to make something to eat would be a better description. The fridge and freezer are loaded with quick fix. I’m waiting for the temp to drop a bit more during dusk, before I head to the kitchen to cook a couple of spuds (add butter, diced rib eye, gouda, avocado in layers).


Myka loves the diced pork tenderloin nibbles. She’d rather rule the house, but the afternoons force her into the cool office.


Big week in the news, reading legal documents, evaluating karma. That’s enough on that.
